November Break Reading Recommendations
Hello! If you are reading this, you must be yearning for something new to read, or perhaps you are simply curious about what I would recommend you read in addition to the pungently suggestive Lord of the Flies. One would hope for some literature that is upbeat and lofty, perhaps even purely escapist. Unfortunately, I couldn't help but to select pieces that will hopefully challenge you emotionally, intellectually, and perhaps even spiritually. For those of you who wish to stick with the classics, I recommend the novel and/or play listed below, or for those of you wanting something a little different, there is a small collection of Stephen King short stories for you to read (note: he is a prolific writer whose stories are not all of the horror genre). I will also (probably) be adding some blogs should you feel compelled to "discuss" the readings with myself or one another. Happy Reading!!!
